TOOL POST GRINDERS
The Tool Post Grinders can be mounted on the compound of any standard lathe machine in a matter of minutes, and can also be mounted on other machine tools, including planers, shapers, milling machines and universal grinders. ABL portable, precision tool post grinders are a cost-effective solution to almost any grinding need! The multi-functionality of this machine is sure to drive down production costs!
This tool post grinder has what it takes to make your project to spec and look good, too. The heavy support casting is loaded with a precision spindle that will provide spectacular finishes on even the toughest jobs.
This machine can effectively replace expensive internal and external grinding machines. This machine is capable of grinding a wide range of materials such as steel, iron, cast iron, copper, aluminum, plastics, rubber, porcelain, marble and more.
Some of the important features carried by the machine are – Mounts Directly to Lathe Tool Post, Low-Speed Range for External Grinding Wheels, High-Speed Ranges for Internal Grinding Wheels Balanced, Hardened Alloy Steel Spindle, Designed for Dry or Wet Grinding
The internal and external diameter of the spindle is carefully engineered using a specially heat-treated alloy steel which maintains high rigidity and durability. This technology is joined with the high-precision bearing coaxial equipment, which is known for its high precision, stable backward rotation, and the ability to maintain the minimum temperature of the spindle.
The centre height of spindle can be adjusted with a high degree of accuracy. The motor and machine body take advantage of a sliding connection design, making it convenient and fast to operate. The motor is put through a special balancing process to ensure long-term precision and stability.
The grinder is capable of grinding the work-piece to a minimum of a 3mm outer diameter and can grind internal diameters from 2mm up. This machine is precise down to 0.003mm, ensuring a precisely ground and finely finished work-piece. The spindle bushing is made of cast iron and is supported on three sides ensuring both durability and elasticity.
